The first stone of the Ghiberti School of Florence has been laid

Yesterday, Tuesday 15 April 2025, the first stone was laid for the new Ghiberti school in Florence, a cutting-edge structure in the heart of Quartiere 4, between via di Legnaia and via di Scandicci.

GPA took care of the final design of structures and systems and, alongside Archea Associati and Fondazione CR Firenze, we conceived this place to be, in the words of the mayor of the City of Florence Sara Funaro,

…much more than a school building: a space designed for learning and growth, but also for sports, culture, socializing. A living place, a point of reference for the entire community. A modern and open school, because investing in education is the most concrete way to build the future of the city.
